We're on the brink of The Great falling away, Great Rebellion, Lawlessness, No moral standards.
Recent Stats:
3 in 5 Americans believe that there is no absolute moral truth. It’s gonna be hard for a nation, marriage, church, or anything to continue if you can’t get people to agree on what’s right and what’s wrong. There are 60% of people who don't know what’s right or wrong. You can’t put laws or policies in place without knowing what’s right and wrong.
The Next Generation is worse. 4 in 5 Millennials believe that there is no absolute moral truth. These are our future. They are the next preachers, pastors, apostles, government officials, judges, police officers, school teachers, and parents. 4 out of 5 believe that there is no moral truth.
Christians. 1-2 Christians believe that there is no absolute moral truth. 50 % of those who call themselves Christ followers (and most believe that they are) believe that there is no absolute truth. Jesus is the truth, but 50% don’t believe in absolute truth.
So we have a problem with truth. And if objective truth doesn’t matter anymore, then we decide what is right and wrong and what we want to do. This is where people look for teachers and churches to feed them lies so they can be comfortable living the way they want; which is without moral integrity or truth.
Objective truth is something that is true for all people, no matter what their culture or religious beliefs. These truths are fundamental truths. I don’t need to tell you the exact temperature of fire to tell you that fire is hot. In the same way, I don’t need to tell you that you need food to survive.
Objective truths are, therefore, recognized by all people, whether or not they realize they are recognizing it.
What Is the Subjective Truth?
Subjective truth is similarly based on a person’s beliefs but not all people may agree with it. This kind of truth is present in things like religion. One person may believe that the existence of God is the truth, where another person may not.
80% of Christians believe that any religion will get you to heaven.
Subjective truth is what’s going to lead us right into lawlessness, the great rebellion, the coming of the Anti-christ.
More Stats: there has never been a socialist society that has ever survived, prospered, or maintained individual freedom.
In America, 75 % of college students want us to go to a socialist society.
69% of Millennials want it.
49% of Americans want a socialist system.
And they all know it has never worked but deception will make you think you’re the exception. When we throw out right and wrong, deception is easy. Every time you touch a hot stove it is going to burn you! That’s called absolute truth!
2 Cor 4:4 (NLT) Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News.
If you don’t love absolute truth delusion or deception will come. You will love darkness. You will call right wrong. You will believe lies because you hate the truth. It starts with hating when people tell you the truth about yourself. Pride is the factor here.
2 Thess 2:9 This man will come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power and signs and miracles. 10 He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them. 11 So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies. 12 Then they will be condemned for enjoying evil rather than believing the truth.
This is a spiritual pattern established by God. It’s like the law of gravity. If you hate truth or reject truth delusion comes, you believe a lie, you act on the lie, and then there are consequences for your actions. It all started when a person decided they didn’t want to embrace, receive, and love the truth.
77% of traditional-value Americans self-censor. This means they will not talk about what’s right and what’s true because they are afraid to get attacked. Rev 21:8 (the fearful and the cowardly have no place in Heaven). If you are afraid to confront those who are wrong, stand up for truth, and defend the truth you need to confront that fear and get rid of it.
1 out 16 people have a Biblical perspective or worldview. 1 out of 16 actually read the Bible to see what God has to say about their lives, this nation, and how to live. When you want to do your own thing you exclude God’s perspective.
We are on the brink of lawlessness and it's time for us all to embrace and love absolute truth. Truth is what makes people free and truth is the answer.
