Don't Allow your Passions to confuse You.

Have you ever questioned the reason for your existence? Have you ever pondered why you possess certain traits, gifts, and passions? Let us explore these questions. However, it's important to clarify what we mean by "passion."

It's important to note that passion is not equivalent to calling. Although you need to be passionate about your true calling, you can still have a passion for numerous things that may not necessarily align with your purpose. We erroneously assume that our passion is God's purpose for our lives, but this is not the case. The things we are passionate about may not be our calling. It's crucial to differentiate between the two.

Our passions may stem from various motivations such as jealousy, competition, envy, and external influences like social media or popular culture. These factors may inspire us to act and pursue something, but that doesn't mean it's our purpose in life. It's essential to avoid mistaking passion for purpose. When we discover our purpose through God's wisdom, we also find our true passion.
