Who is in your inner circle?

We are all influenced by others. You are influencing yourself and others in a positive or negative way—and they are doing the same to you. It matters who you hang out with.

Your circle affects your thinking

Get around people full of faith, vision, and purpose—you’ll start thinking higher.Stay around negativity, compromise, and excuses—you’ll start lowering your standards.

Your circle reinforces your habits

What’s normal around you becomes normal within you. You don’t rise above your environment consistently—you reflect it.

Your circle shapes your identity

People either remind you who God called you to be… or slowly pull you away from it.

You’re not just influenced—you’re influencing

You’re either sharpening people or dulling them. There is no neutral.

Ask yourself this honestly: Are you hanging out with winners, champions, and tough people…or are you hanging out with wimps and people who justify losing in life?

Because whatever you tolerate, you eventually become.

Scripture makes it plain:

“Bad company corrupts good character.” (1 Corinthians 15:33)

“He who walks with the wise becomes wise.” (Proverbs 13:20)

You can’t build a strong life with a weak circle.

If you’re called to lead, build, and expand—you need people around you who are doing the same, not making excuses for why they aren’t.
