Godiator

A gladiator (Latin: gladiator, "swordsman", from gladius, "sword").

The people of God are Godiators we all have the “sword of the Spirit” and have been trained to use it. We use it to defeat the enemy. It’s for offense and defense. We defend ourselves from the enemy as well as pursue him. Godiators are not afraid of the devil!

  • Heb 4:12 For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.

A Godiator is a fighter. He/She represents the Kingdom and will fight on Its behalf. He/She will fight and be strong in the evil day. Godiators wear the Full Armor of God and are able to stand against the wiles of the Devil.

Eph 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

The Kingdom of God is worth fighting for. We have a purpose within the bounds of the Kingdom and we will not allow the enemy to destroy what God wants to be done here on the earth. We are called to produce the Kingdom on the earth and help win as many people to the Lord and make disciples out of them as we can. The devil hates our mission and is willing to fight us for every soul. We can’t and will not back down, but will stand in the trenches and fight!

We fight not only with the Word and prayer but also with our God-given purpose and vision. Our churches make the devil nervous when we stand up and do the assignment God called us to do. The devil hates it when we are in unity not fighting each other but ganging up on him. We don’t fight flesh and blood, but evil spirits in the spirit realm.

Let’s take our stand against the wicked one and win this world for Jesus! You are a Godiator...A Kingdom of God Warrior!
