Can you see?
Satan doesn’t want you to see (Read Joshua 6). When you don’t have a vision you’ll be all over the place. You never go down the straight path. Without vision, you can’t move. Without vision, you will go slower than you need to. You’re too cautious and afraid because you can’t see anything. Vision makes you move with confidence!
Raining on your vision
When it’s raining really hard while you’re driving, you slow down, and then sometimes you have to pull over and wait. Why? Because your vision is blurred. I see Christians all the time pulled over and waiting for certain signals before they move. They don’t know that the reason they are always waiting on God is that they have no vision or their vision is blurred by storms, false prophecies, rebellion against the wisdom of their pastors, and negative people.
Vision is an image of your future. Vision is the prophetic destination of your life. Vision is God’s will for your life. Vision is the compass that keeps you on track and going in the right direction.
Proverbs 29:18
New Living Translation: When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful.
English Standard Version: Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint but blessed is he who keeps the law.
When you have a vision, you keep yourself within the boundaries of the vision. You don’t cast off the restraints. You’re not all over the place trying ideas. No, you can SEE what to do and where to go. You’re not lost, anxious, or confused when you have a solid God-given vision. No person and No thing can sway you in the opposite direction. Vision keeps you on point, focused, solid, and disciplined.
