Heb 10:23 Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope (faith) without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word];
The key to your faith is knowing, understanding, and believing that God is faithful. We are to hold tightly our profession or confession of faith. Our confession of faith is Jesus is Lord! He is faithful or reliable to His word. If He said it, He is faithful to make sure it will come to pass. We can put our faith in His faithfulness.
Is 55:10 For just as rain and snow fall from heaven and do not return without watering the earth, making it bud and sprout, and providing seed to sow and food to eat, 11 So My word that proceeds from My mouth will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish what I please, and it will prosper where I send it.
When God’s word goes forth it will prosper where He sends it. That’s true because He said it. If you have a word or promise from God and you do (The Bible) then put your faith in His faithfulness to accomplish what He said. Yes, we must participate in seeing it happen and we do it by obeying what He says.
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away. Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act? Does He promise and not fulfill? Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever."
God will make it happen
1 Thess 5:24 God will make this happen, for He who calls you is faithful.
Why will God make it happen? Correct! HE IS FAITHFUL! God is not a liar. His character is reliability, trustworthiness, and integrity. He does what He says. It’s hard for people to believe it because they see God the way they see people. They see people as liars and unreliable, but God is not a man that He should lie. God has never lied. That’s the devil’s nature. God not only speaks truth, HE IS THE TRUTH!
